About Tote
*In foster care in Lidcombe, Sydney*
Precious girl Tote (also known as Toad or Toadie in her foster home) is a gorgeous tuxedo kitten who values her independence - but also loves a cuddle on her own terms!
While she can be a little shy when meeting a new person for the first time, Tote is a sucker for tummy rubs and has even been known to slip off a lap and fall on the floor because she's gotten so comfy :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Tote is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a nice calm vibe, and be with a single person, couple or family with older kids. (I haven't quite mastered my murder mittens yet, and I don't want younger kids to get hurt!) You'll need to be cool with me walking all over your laptops, faces and any and everything else in the house as I'm very carefree! I also love climbing, chasing, and getting up to mischief with other friendly cats. I'm definitely an athletic sort of girl!
Ideally there'll be plenty of room for me to race around and explore when the mood strikes, and also lots of little nooks, boxes and small spaces for me to get cosy in.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! Think regular zoomies, chasing bits of string and chewing on cardboard, mixed with long afternoons of bed snoozes and lap cuddles.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids aged 8+ will be the best companions for me, especially those who are familiar with kitten behaviour and will keep an eye out for sharp claws!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Big tick for cats! My favourite playmate in my foster home is a big old British Shorthair who's about 7kgs heavier than me - I always follow him around and ask for wrestle matches :) I'm really respectful of boundaries though, and know when to give other kitties space if they need it. If they're a bit touchy I'll just move on, completely unfazed.
I have met some dogs and while I can be a bit fluffy and shy on first contact, I'm more than happy to leave them be. So if you have a dog in your home who'll also respect my space, we should get along fine! And once I'm feeling comfortable, I might even play with them :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
