Hopper - 4 Month Old Mixed Breed (Trial)

Hopper is a 4 month old, female, mixed breed puppy. We don't know her breed but we believe she is a working dog breed mix due to her intelligence and physical strength.

Hopper is the sweetest girl. She has lots of puppy energy and loves humans. She likes being around you and snuggling with you.

Hopper is good with other dogs and children. She likes playing with her fur foster sister and snoozing under the sun.

She sleeps well in a bed all night by herself. She is a quick learner and eager to learn new things. Her toilet training is going well. If she has access to outside with the dog door, she goes out for toilet and rarely fails. She has started learning basic commands and walking with a lead.

Hopper is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Hopper will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Hopper. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

Hopper needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Hopper’s adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Hopper is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
