About Salt
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Salt joined his Maggie's foster fam with his sister Pepper, and little did they realise how salty his purrsonality truly was! This gorgeous lad is finally starting to learn the delights of domestic life, and the joys of a good tummy rub :)
While he's wary of new people, he's a different kitty altogether once he gets to know you - purring his little heart out and rubbing his entire body on you before flopping over to reveal his squishy white belly! Salt also loves to play, especially with anything that moves, and he equally enjoys snoozing in a sunny spot for a good portion of the day.
Salt's appetite definitely matches his round booty, and he's recently - finally - figured out how to meow instead of just grunting (though you’ll hear the grunt every so often!). He’s come a long way already, but he is still a bit sensitive to strangers and will require some patience before his beautiful nature comes out of hiding.
Like all Maggie's pets, Salt is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Because I'm still building up my confidence, a relaxed, calm and accepting home environment with experienced cat owners would suit me best. I can take some time to feel safe and to trust new humans, so I'll be so grateful for your patience and kindness while I'm settling in - however long that takes. Believe me, once I'm feeling comfy you'll be richly rewarded by my loving, cuddly ways!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Zoom then snooze is my typical routine!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'll likely be a good match with older children who know how to be gentle with a sensitive kitten.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've had a lovely time with the other cats I've met, but I haven't had any contact with dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
