Ruff ruff, meet Ralph, an older soul just waiting for his turn to get adopted.

Ralph was not very happy coming into the shelter, a very scared guy and very unsure of how to trust. The amazing staff at LDH has worked to make it a nicer experience for Ralph because we know that he will make his new adopters extremely happy.

It takes Ralph time to trust you but if you are willing to be patient then he will be your forever bestie, never leaving your side.
Ralph loves his treats and this is a great way to let him understand that you are there to be kind to him and make sure that he is going to live a comfortable and happy life.

Ralph will need to go to an adults-only home with people that will understand his body language and take things at his pace. We can see him running around a yard/field and playing tug of war until his heart's content then cuddling up in his dog bed to stay warm whilst enjoying the company of his human family.

Ralph can be a little uncertain around other doggo friends too so he will need to be the only fur baby in the home.
We don't mean to tug on your heart strings but this poor boy was very sad when coming into the shelter and we know he would be a fantastic companion for the right person, if you think that could be you then come into LDH and meet him today.
