Bowie

Hi I'm Bowie, a Major Skink - I'm a pretty big deal! My species hale from Northern NSW all the way to tropical far north QLD!

You might've noticed I don't quite look like the rest of the Skinks in my area. I had a bad skin infection in my tail and back, so I have a bit of scarring on my back and my tail is slowly growing back! The awesome team at RSPCA fixed me all up! I also came in a bit chunky, and I've been getting healthier on my diet.

I love to hide and explore through my logs and around the rocks and plants in my enclosure. I can be a bit more reclusive than other lizard species so may take some time getting used to my new home - but once I warm up to you, I'll be more comfortable with handling!

To have a fabulous life I require a UV light, heat lamp, enough suitable sized hides and water bowl. My enclosure needs to be long enough for me to cruise around comfortably.
