About Eadie
Good things come to those who wait - which means this beautiful Kelpie X girl, Eadie, will hopefully be finding her forever home very soon. In our care since August 2023, this playful girl is eagerly waiting to meet her new, loving family.
Eadie's personality:
Eadie is a very active and playful girl who loves running around, getting all of her energy out. Due to her being found wandering around by a concerned member of the public in Taree, we have no exact details regarding her age but estimate Eadie to be close to 3 years of age. What we do know however is that this stunning beauty is always up for an adventure and loves nothing more than cuddling up with her favourite people.
Eadie is full of personality and has no shortage of affection to give. Whether it’s outdoor activities such as chasing her toys or going on a long walk (she’s an angel on her lead!), or snuggling indoors with the family, she’s happy to be a part of whatever daily task you’re up to. She is guaranteed to bring much joy, laughter, love and companionship into your home.
Eadie's ideal forever home:
Eadie is energetic and fun-loving and loves to run around and explore! Because of this, she will do best in a forever home that allows plenty of space to run and play, as well as a family that will spend lots of time with her. She would love nothing more than to be taken on adventures and explorations as a cherished member of your family.
Due to Eadie never having the opportunity to learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs, it is anticipated that she will be best suited as an only dog, at least initially. She does not show aggression, but does play quite rough with the doggies she has met here at the rescue. She will most likely require help or training with her socialisation skills but is certainly very intelligent and easily picks up new skills. She is untested around cats so it may be best to avoid a home with existing cats at this stage.
Eadie's Story:
Eadie came into our care in August 2023 after she was found wandering in Taree by a member of the public. Once in the care of the Midcoast Animal Companion Centre, it was determined she would be better suited under Duty of Care due to her underweight condition. She then came to Sweet Pea for lots of love, affection and food! She settled in well and now has a very healthy appetite. She is now eagerly and patiently awaiting her forever family to come and meet her.
More about Eadie:
Eadie is a confident and cuddly girl who is very affectionate and loves human company. She is playful and adventurous, enjoying the time and space to run around chasing her toys and releasing all of her energy! Having now been in our care for the past 5 months, she is more than ready to meet her new forever family. If you’re looking for an active and loyal companion who will love you unconditionally then Eadie is most certainly the doggie for you!
Eadie’s adoption fee is $450 which contributes towards the cost of her time spent in care.
Medical notes
Eadie's medical history:
Eadie came into our care considerably underweight. She blossomed very quickly after arriving (thanks to her love of food!) and quickly worked her way up to a healthy and more satisfactory weight.
Eadie has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
