Bok

This pup has everything going for him!

Bok has a really lovely temperament. He is so sweet and gentle. His favourite thing has to be human affection and company. Bok will snuggle up in your lap and loves all the pats and cuddles. He likes his walks up to the coffee shop as it means he gets to make new friends and also gain more admirers. Bok is a playful and inquisitive puppy. His favourite toy is his ball which he loves to chase around.

While in foster care, he has been living with his sister and two adult dogs. Bok is friends with all the other dogs and is now starting to meet other dogs out and about. Like all puppies, he will need to continue having positive socialisation experiences throughout his development. Bok should have regular playdates with other friendly dogs. He is expected to be a medium sized dog and as a working breed mix of some description, Bok will be relatively active. Daily exercise and mental stimulation will be required to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.

Bok is a smart puppy who is food motivated and learns quickly. He can already sit, lie down and walk on a lead. Now he is learning how to wait patiently for his meals. Bok’s new owners must be committed to his ongoing training so that he can reach his full potential. It would be ideal for him to attend obedience classes to build his bond with his new humans and continue to learn all the things a good doggie should know. Bok travels fine in the car but does need to be properly secured as he thinks being on your lap is the best seat in the car. He will make a great companion to take along on activities and adventures to explore the world.

We are looking for a dog experienced home for Bok where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities. He would love a home with another playful and friendly dog who is already fully trained so that they can be a good role model. Alternatively, Bok will be fine to live as an only dog in a household where someone is home more often than not, and his new owners can support him during the transition period. Bok should be allowed inside to be with his family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. He is young enough to learn to live harmoniously with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance. Bok hasn’t yet met kids, but his sweet disposition indicates that he would be ok to live with older and/or calmer kids who are used to dogs. This pup is going to make an amazing addition to his new home. He will bring fun, love, happiness and many puppy kisses.
