Lizzie

Lizzie is a sweet, shy young girl who is looking for a quiet low foot traffic home to help build her confidence. She will need a calm, mature home with patient owners. Lizzie has likely missed out on important socialization and is a bit fearful of the big wide world. She can become easily overwhelmed in new environments and when meeting new people. Very worried by touch, but her foster parent has done a great job at introducing gentle touch and helping Lizzie to learn that touch is not such a scary thing! Lizzie will require a launch room/area to transition into the home so recommend setting up with a crate and slowly allowing access to other areas of the home. Older teenagers in the home, if any at all, and if you have a resident dog the same size as Lizzie, she would love to meet them here at the shelter.
