About Roxette
Beautiful Roxette (Roxy) is an English Staffy x Jack Russell Terrier
She is 17 weeks and only 10 kilos so based on this we are daily certain she will be a small to smaller size med
She is fully vaccinated , Desexed and Microchipped and ready to start to search for her forever family home.
Roxy loves the other dogs in the home and spends her day playing with them, sleeping next to them and following them around. For this reason Roxy will be seeking a home with a well socialized male dog who enjoys playing. Roxy is an extremely sweet gentle little girl with her humans and loves to have a cuddle and pat. Roxy has a lot of energy and loves to run and play and explore the backyard.

Food
Roxy loves food time and will sit patiently and wait while you prepare her meal. Roxy is currently eating twice a day, her morning meal is premium dry food and at night she has premium dry food with a little bit of boiled chicken. Roxy loves treats including cow hooves, rabbit ears and goat horns.
Roxy shows no signs of food aggression.
Sleeping
Roxy loves to curl up next to her best dog friend and sleep (Roxy loves being little spoon) on occasions she will snuggle with a human but much prefers her dog friends to snuggle with. Roxy will sleep through the night from 9pm until you get up in the morning.
Toileting/Training/Walking
Roxy is fully housetrained However I would expect during the settling in period for her to have a couple of accidents until she is comfortable in her new surroundings.
Roxy has learnt to sit and stay.
Roxy loves going for her walks however she dislikes the lead being attached to her collar and prefers to walk on her harness. She is only a small little girl and will require daily small walks, with walking length to increase as Roxy grows.
Roxy will need to attend puppy school to further her training and socialization skills. Roxy is ready to start puppy school asap.
Exercise/toys
Roxy loves playing in the ball pit. Roxy's favorite toys are anything that makes noise, the louder the better in her eyes and playing fetch. Roxy will spend all day playing with the other dogs in the house.
Children
Roxy is good with younger and older children and currently has no mouthy behaviors.
Dogs
Roxy currently lives with numerous dogs of all different ages and gets along with all of them with no issues. Roxy loves the other dogs and spends all day with them. Roxy will only be going to a home with another dog (male well socialized and loves to play)
Roxy has not been tested with cats, but due to her age we see no issues homing her with a cat.
Travel
Roxy is not a fan of going in the car, sometimes she will vomit. We have found if traveling with another dog she will relax and not get car sick
Medical
Roxy has been with us in care since she was 6 weeks old therefore has had all of her puppy vaccines ( 3) The reason she has been with us so long as was went we initially went to desex her the heart rate was very high and vets thought there might have been a potential issue with her heart so to air on the side of caution we waIted will she was a little older and had full blood screening completed which results were all normal and then a full cardio echogram done on heart heart in which again results were all normal so Roxy was desexed and is now ready for adoption
Ideal Home
A home with a backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children who can handle puppy behavior
A home with another dog. The dog in residence must be Male who is well socialized and tolerant of puppy behaviors Roxy has always been with other dogs and will probably not cope alone
A daily walk. Short walks while she is a puppy and her bones are developing. A moderate-long walk when older and has more energy to burn.
A lot of love and training! Roxy should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on her own in the backyard all the time. Her new owner should dedicate time to training and take her to puppy classes
She is young enough to learn if you have a dog savvy cat.
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog/puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pup,
Roxy must be able to sleep inside.
