Albie 🏆 Pomeranian (On Trial 15/8/23)

Albie is a purebred Pomeranian, only 4 years old. He’s a very cuddly and affectionate, little fluff ball who will bring someone lots of happiness and companionship 😍. He adores everyone he meets. He is happiest when he can sit on your lap and get lots of attention.

Don’t let his gorgeous appearance fool you, he’s a smart and sturdy little dog. He isn't nippy or barky. Albie absolutely loves going for a walk. He walks nicely on a harness and lead and trots along at a good pace.

Albie gets along very well with other dogs. He would be happy to live with other small dogs, but if you don’t have another dog, Albie would be quite content with being an only dog getting all the attention for himself.

Albie isn’t suitable to live with children under 12 but would be fine with young visitors so long as they treat him like a dog not a toy. He hasn’t been tested with cats. He loves food and treats. He’s good in the car.

Sadly, Albie was previously living outside. Now that he is living the good life indoors, his foster carer has begun house training him. He will need continued training in this area. He is extremely happy to be indoors with people now!

He is fine left at home alone inside for part of the day but not all day. So, we're looking for someone who doesn’t work full time outside of the home.

Albie was surrendered because his family could no longer look after him. He has been vet checked and is healthy. He is still a youngster so has many, many years ahead in his forever home.

You may have noticed Albie’s remarkably fluffy coat!!! He is absolutely stunning, like a miniature lion. His long, luxurious coat does shed and does require some maintenance. He needs daily brushing to prevent matting and to minimise shedding around your house. He also needs regular bathing and trimming of the fur on his paws, and nail clipping.

✅ Albie’s forever person(s):
* will take him for a walk every day,
* will let him sit on their lap and give him lots of love,
* doesn’t work full time away from home,
* is young enough to be able to care for him for the rest of his life,
* has no children under 12.

Albie is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). ⭐️He is only available for adoption within NSW and ACT.

Albie's adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms, vet checked, and microchipped.
