About Locky
Hi Locky here. My foster parents think I am a real cutie and will be a great addition to my new family, but I will let them tell my story….
When this energetic little bundle arrived, he put on a brave face and took all the changes in his stride and was so accepting, curious but also scared. However, it was nothing a good feed, a sleep in his own bed he brought with him and lots of cuddles could not fix. He is comforted by wearing his pj’s to bed and is not a real morning “person” preferring to sleep in.
Locky loves to play and will happily play by himself with his favourite toys (either of two balls) or the goat horn he treasures. Be warned though - soft fluffy toys end up like a packet of coconut in minutes!
Every day he has a walk then a long play catching the tennis ball until the humans can no longer stand up. Then he sleeps like a log .
Locky walks well on the lead but we are not entirely sure he can be trusted to come back if he gets out so he can only be allowed off leash in a secure area.
He is not a fussy eater, likes the car, Bunnings and after an initial grizzle is ok alone at home and is happy to see you return. He is keen to please and eager to learn and easy to train so this is his time to shine and be your beautiful boy.
Locky is toilet trained to go outside but will also use a pee pad if needed. He knows basic commands.
He is very energetic indeed, will be still for cuddles but he would rather be on the move doing something or plotting mischief!
Medical notes
11 month old Locky is desexed and microchipped. He is also up to date with his vaccinations (due Dec 2023) and flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Locky has been vet checked, including a full blood test, and has no other medical issues that we are aware of.
