About Pecan
** Assisted Re-home for current Owner**
Pecan is a stunning British Shorthair cross Siamese Colour Point Male.
British Shorthair are a medium to large size cat. They can be heavily muscled and have heavy boning. They have a rounded, thick appearance with short to medium coat length. Daily brushing of the British Shorthair is important, especially during seasonal changes when the coat is thickening or thinning.
When you pick up a British shorthair, you should always support their back end. British shorthair should not have their hind end drag down their abdomen, as this can make them uncomfortable and insecure.
The British Shorthair is a very pleasant cat to have as a companion. He is easy going and placid. The British is a fiercely loyal, loving cat and they will attach to every one of their family members.
While the British loves to play, they don't need hourly attention. If he is in the mood to play, he will find someone and bring a toy to that person. The British also plays well by themselves, and thus is a good companion for single people. The British tolerates being left alone. He is affectionate but also spends time just sleeping in the sun. The British is an easy cat to care for and makes a wonderful, quiet companion.
Litter trained, vet worked and available for adoption.
