Hi there! 👋
My name is Mandy, I am a 14 week old border collie mix and loving life. I am a very confident young girl.
While I wait for my forever home I am with my foster sisters. They have been teaching me how to interact with other dogs, learning when they have had enough (which is no fun!), and I have been learning my manners. I now know how to sit for food. I am very food motivated and I love my toys.
I would excel in a home with another doggy friend or a someone who has a very active lifestyle. I have started to walk on a leash, foster mum says I am a champ but I have a long way to go. However I am pretty good at walking off leash if I do say so myself.
At the moment I sleep in the laundry all the way through the night with no mistakes. I spend my days running around in the backyard or sunbaking in the sun. At night time I come in and chill with the foster fam while we all watch tv and relax before bed.
My new home will need to be prepared to take me to obedience training to continue my socialisation, my basic training and be prepared to invest in ongoing training into adulthood and beyond to ensure I achieve my full potential. I'm a clever pup and I'll be lots of fun to train.
My new family will need to include me in their everyday lives. If you can ensure I remain a happy girl by providing the ongoing exercise, training, socialisation and mental stimulation a working breed dog needs then foster mum would love to hear from you.
Will you be my forever family?
Love and licks
Mandy! Xoxo
Medical notes
Mandy is not yet desexed. We do not desex puppies until they are at minimum 24-weeks-of-age. All pups must be desexed by 26-weeks-of-age unless under vet advice in writing.
If we have a vet in the adopters area, (eg. mid north coast & northern rivers area) we offer a desexing voucher, if not then the adoption fee is reduced by the amount we pay our vet for desexing to assist the adopter with that cost-$250.
All our dogs/pups are microchipped, vaccinated and have received parasite prevention.
