Introducing the kind Streisand, one of our Pupstars.

Along with her littermates Streisand has been in care since she was 8 weeks old and during that time, she has definitely wiggled her way into her foster mumma’s heart. She is an absolute darling.

Streisand has been spending her time getting the hang of living in a loving home, this slightly shy girl takes a little bit of warming up but once she has… you have her for life. Streisand has now been in care long enough to learn that humans are really very loving, so it is now for her to join her own family and begin her life of love and adventure.

What kind of home is Streisand looking for?

Streisand is going to be a large breed girl, and while she is a big puppy, she is very soft and at times shy, she looks to the humans and other animals in her life for support when she is unsure. She requires a kind family who will take the time to show her the ropes and also introduce her to the big wide world in a way in which ensures she grows in confidence while also feeling safe. While it is likely that Streisand is going to grow into a gentle giant - she will need training and dedication to ensure she turns into the best version of herself possible.

This lovely girl will thrive in a thoughtful, kind, and considerate home with an active lifestyle. Streisand finds some things in life a little overwhelming, but when she is shown what to expect in a calm and gentle manner, she takes things in her stride.

Streisand is looking for a home that can provide her with physical exercise, mental stimulation, and dedication to her training. Streisand thrives on love, cuddles, affection, and attention… but don’t be fooled, when she is ready and rearing to go, she LOVES to play, wrestle, chew on toys, play tug and is generally exactly how a young puppy is when it comes to life!

She needs a home where she will be allowed inside and to be an active part of her family’s life inside the home. While Streisand feels safe and confident in her foster home environment she does take a little time to warm up to new situations, so she will require a home where her new family can gently show her that life is a whole lot of fun. Streisand has had plenty of exposure to children and she loves them, however as with any dog or puppy it will come down to the applicant and Streisand as to whether it is the right match! While a doggo sibling would be great (she LOVES her sister and foster siblings) this is not essential for Streisand to find the right home.

This beautiful girl will require a secure, fenced yard where she can safely explore and play, while also being allowed the freedom to be inside her new home on the couch or her very own bed. Her foster home has 2 giant breed dogs and 2 cats, Streisand currently sleeps in a playpen with her sister by the warmth of the fire fire and loves couch time and cuddles with her foster mum. She loves a good game of tug, learning and engaging her brain (she is super smart and extremely food which makes training easier), chewing on delish long-lasting treats and all the cuddles and couch time. Streisand is going to be relatively big and strong so training will be vital to ensure she has a fulfilled life - speaking of training it is important that Streisand participates in training that will set her off on the right paw, helping her to build her confidence and feel safe in the world.
