About Victor
Hi I’m Victor, I am a gorgeous 2 year and 3 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
I solemnly swear I will love you so much every day that you just won’t know what to do with all the love.
Hey did I mention I would love you if you become my family.
My foster mum says since I came into care retired from a breeding program - I’ve become the sweetest cuddly little boy who just wants to be with you on the couch or next to you on the bed, or even going for drives with you, or a walk – I’m still learning how to walk on a leader but I’m getting there!
I can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but that’s but if you give me a moment to settle I will quickly come out of my shell to show my true personality - a sweet loving boy
I am a little boy only weighing in at 7.1kgs
I have my little daily routines that I love to do – I love to sit with you while you get ready for your day
I would like a home where someone is home more often than not – work from home, retired, shift workers even would be great, a big family with kids of any age to hang out with as my cuddle requirements are high. My foster mum says that I am not a fan of being home alone for long periods and have some anxiety but as I get more confident and find my furever home that should ease as I get used to my humans schedule and my fur brother / sister is by my side.
Speaking of other dogs I am dog friendly (I’m friendly with everyone and everything my foster mum says) and she thinks it would really benefit from me having a older settled big brother / sister to cuddle up when I want (when my humans are busy) but I also do learn some cues from them when we are out and about.
I am not tested with cats but my foster mum says it really could go either way – I could chase or I would try and sleep on them giving them cuddles.
When I came into care I hadn’t really had much exposure to walking on a lead but I’m getting there – just with some time and patience I will be a little star!
I am completely toilet trained, however the first day or two at my new home my new parents will probably need to remind me of the toilet process as I will probably Velcro myself to you.
Overall my foster mum says I am perfect and if you want to share your bed with me, my heart will be yours forever.
I am very much an inside dog – snoozing on the couch and sleeping on my human’s bed and I would very much like this to continue.
I have a coat that does require grooming.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
