Evie

Evie is a very sweet dog, who loves occupying herself w/ her chew toys and being around her people as much as possible! She LOVES to meet everyone she sees, she is probably the most friendly and happy dog we’ve ever had!

She's not a huge believer in personal space, and will climb on the couch and sit right on you- if you’re looking for a textbook cuddly big dog then this is your girl! While she will remind you of her presence on a regular basis throughout the day, after a walk or run will happily sleep in the sun for hours.

Evie is a smart girl and eager to please. She is responding very well to training. She will need reinforcement against jumping up on people, and licking/nibbling their hands. Guests are already commenting that she is improving in this regard.

Evie is definitely an inside dog, she enjoys curling up on one of her beds or the couch. She needs some stimulation throughout the day to keep her occupied. We've been feeding her with various slow feed toys which she loves. A diet of dry kibble is suitable for her. Also totally house trained with no accidents.

Evie has been walking her around four times a day, at least one walk of 30+ minutes, and time at the park chasing a ball. She is quite content to sleep in, and won't demand a morning walk excessively early.
An active home is a must!

She has been getting along great with other dogs at both the dog park, and in the home. She plays and reacts with confidence, so an aggressive dog may not respond well to her. When other off-leash dogs have shown aggression, she has retreated without issue.

We think having a dog friend would be really good for her, for activity levels and keeping her occupied.

Because Evie is larger and has been jumping up, small kids might not be suitable but older children would find a great playmate in her!

Overall Evie would love
- An active household and would be a GREAT adventure and hiking buddy
- Someone who loves cuddly dogs
- Older kids or another dog sibling would be great!
