Magic

Magic is the type of guy that makes an impression! Whether it's his striking good looks or his cheeky, confident personality, he is not easily overlooked.

He is wicked smart and picks up things very quickly whether these new skills are used for good or evil is another story. He very much has the traits of both a husky and a shepherd, he is independent, intelligent, bold and more than a little dramatic, knowing how to put on a full scale production should he feel his voice is heard. He picked up housetraining with absolute ease but crate training... not so much! The boy does not like to be contained so it's a blessing that he generally sleeps soundly beside his foster carers bed during the night.

Magic has already mastered walking on leash, can do a beautiful sit and posing for a photo is like second nature (head tilt included). He truly is a magical little being and is going to make the *right* person so unbelievably happy, he is a wonderful dog but will undoubtably push boundaries and test patience because that's just who he is and the right people will love and appreciate that about him. He is really looking for someone who is fully invested in being all an all in dog parent, a budding trainer, a dog sports enthusiast, a full time adventurer and we are committed to finding them.

MY IDEAL HOME: Magic is looking for a home that want more than just a dog, he is a SUPER fun puppy and being a husky x shepherd, is also very clever but whether he channels those smarts into being a good canine citizen will be up to his new family as ongoing training is a must! The perfect scenario for Magic will be a family that have had large breeds before, even better if they're shepherds or huskies who have time to invest in his development and can include him in their day to day life. He is not suitable for apartment living and would greatly benefit from someone wanting a dog that they can bond with through doing cool stuff with.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Being a mix of Husky and German Shepherd, it is safe to say that Magic is going to grow to be very high energy and require at least one big daily adventure if not two. As he's just a wee baby, he does tire easily at the moment but when he's awake he is a very busy guy!

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Magic is a super friendly boy, he is currently a very mouthy puppy which would require management around children and will grow to be a decent size, so dog savvy kids over 8 are probably best for this boy.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Magic is currently living in a busy multi dog household and gets along well with the dogs he resides with, he is quite a boisterous boy at times and can be a little much for smaller dogs so is likely best suited to a home with another dog of similar size. He also is currently sharing a home with a cat, he finds cats a lot of fun and would require ongoing management and training to live with one long term.
