About Roxy
š¾ HELP ME FIND MY FUR-EVER HOME
Hi, My Names Roxy and I wanted to share my story with you. Iāve had a bit of a rocky start to life, and Iām really not sure why.
I used to live at a caravan park with my doggy friend and our human, it was fun there, meeting all the new people that would come to the park, but then one day our human packed up and left us behind! We didnāt understand why š
Next thing we knew these people in uniforms came to collect us and take us to this place with cages. I stayed with my doggy friend for a while and then they split us up and I was left all on my own. I wasnāt sure what was happening until these other people came to pick me up a few weeks later, I was excited to see some new faces and play. I was later told that these people from a dog rescue helped save me from something really horrible happening to me, I was grateful to them, but my luck didnāt last for long š
I was safe for a while and really enjoyed being around my foster families. I really love people and I enjoy playing with other doggies. But these people from the rescue group didnāt keep me safe for long. The people that took me from the pound then decided that no one would ever want to adopt or love me, they wanted to take me to the vets to do something horrible. I just donāt know why everyone wants to hurt me š
Luckily my now foster family stepped into action and saved me. Iāve been living with them and all my doggie brothers and sisters, horses, cows and chickens ever since. They love me lots and I love them lots, but they say I deserve to be someones number 1 and I think Iād like that too.
So my foster mum asked BAR to help find me a new home. My foster mums tell me BAR are the good ones and that theyāll look after me and keep me safe.
I know this story seems a bit sad, but I want to tell you a little more about me:
Iām very smart and learn quickly. I can sit and lie down. I know how to wait for my food around dinner time and Iām also crate trained. I come home when my foster mums call me and Iām good around livestock. I also know how to ride on the quad bike. I can kayak and Iām also good at travelling in the car.
My foster mums think Iām the best adventure buddy and will be someones best friend. Iām very loyal and love to be around people I also enjoy coffee outings and going to restaurants. At first I like to check out all the smells and then Iām ready to have a nap under the table. I love going for big runs, but also happy to cuddle up next to you.
Although I have lots of good sides, I also need a human friend that can give me boundrires and teach me further good habits. I do need somewhere that I can run and play or someone that is willing to take me out for regular exercise, stimulation and socialisation.
If youāre looking for a new adventure buddy please let me know by emailing bullarabrescue@outlook.com and hopefully we can be best friends soon š
Thank you for listening to my story and I hope to meet you soon
