About Rory 🐈
Little Miss Rory is our 4mth old Ginger girl….and what an absolute sweetheart she is! ❣️
Whilst she has been tried and tested in a home with young children, Rory is not built for young kids lol....they are just too unpredictable for her ❌
She prefers a quieter, calmer environment and will continue to thrive in that situation. Rory is currently in care with 3 adult cats (who she absolutely adores), 2 other kittens of a similar age to her, and 4 dogs. Although she doesn’t have face to face contact with the dogs in her foster home, she has previously been around bigger dogs and coped well, so with slow introductions, would happily live alongside them in her forever home.
Whilst Rory can be a little nervous at times, she settles quite quickly once she’s feeling safe and absolutely loves attention from her people. Pats = Purrs with this little girl! She enjoys chasing the laser, anything that rolls across the floor, toys on string and playing in the tunnels 🪄
Rory has been introduced to our catio, and enjoys venturing out there in the mornings and throughout the day with the other cats. She is very inquisitive in her surroundings and loves to perch herself high up on the cat scratcher when it’s time for a nap 💤
DIET
Breakfast - Tuna on a licky mat with some creamy tuna puree as a treat
Dinner - Applaws tin (tuna fillet with prawn and Ocean Fish seem to be the favourites), shredded chicken breast and tuna
Access to dry food 24/7 - Royal Canin kitten and Royal Canin Indoor
INDOOR ONLY HOME - unless a secure outdoor enclosed catio is on offer. Is a fenced yard enough? NO it most certainly isn’t. Sadly, too many people think that their cats don’t leave the yard. They are hunters, and will explore beyond the fence if given the chance….you only have to scan the lost and found pages online to see how many cats go missing everyday, and sadly many of them never make it home. Outdoor cats are also a big threat to our wildlife and at high risk of diseases, sickness and ticks (just to name a few).
Rory is currently located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast NSW and available to adopt now 🧡

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
