Claude is a very loyal, and good-looking pup with lots of affection to share. Having a loving home and people around him means the world to him. He loves cuddles, a belly rub, and playing with toys. He contently sleeps in his own bed and will stay off the human bed. He very quickly mastered using a doggy door and is toilet trained to go outside. He loves to be around people and dogs. He walks reasonably well on a leash and is happy to come out to cafes and restaurants to sit with you. He loves to stretch his long legs with a good run at least once a day. He loves food but will give you your space when its human mealtime if asked to go chill.

Claude comes with the pride and joy of having a young handsome large dog, but naturally he also comes with the associated additional time and training requirements. Most things are in his physical reach, and he needs to be extra careful when around dogs & children smaller than him as he can be quite goofy, and his size can be intimidating. He is quite happy to chill and nap but needs a good run every day as well as stimulation such as thoughtful training and playing with toys together. Claude will also still need additional patience and training in knowing how to relax when his humans are not around, though he’s getting there. He can be boisterous in play so not suited to small or frail dogs.

A happy loving home with an experienced dog owner (in consideration of his young age and size) with time to set boundaries will be perfect. Claude will reward you with his very affectionate and fun personality.
