About George
This little fella was found by the Ranger wandering the streets of a rural town. He endured his pound time with a massive flea burden.
He had no microchip and his owner didn’t look for him, so thankfully he was able to come into care with us.
I couldn’t wait to give him a flea treatment and a warm medicated bath, the poor boy has been suffering with the fleas for a long long time, judging by the volume of (now dead) fleas and flea dirt that were rinsed down the plug hole.
George has settled into my home beautifully. He seems to love everything life has to offer and his tail almost vibrates with happiness.
He has mixed in easily with the other dogs here, both bigger and smaller than him, and enjoys playtime.
He is a massive fan of cuddles with his human and happily jumps into my lap in the evenings. He sleeps right through the night in his warm comfy bed.
George easily uses the doggie door to come and go as he pleases, and to toilet outside.
His coarse, shaggy coat does its own thing! George really enjoyed his bath and stands stock-still to be brushed. His coat doesn’t seem to shed much.
He is a fabulous little dog who loves his tucker, loves going for walks on leash and is brilliant in the car.
PLEASE NOTE: we are located in Moree, northern NSW, and if you are the successful adopter you will need to drive to collect him.
