Patch is a nervous little boy who takes time to warm up to you and to other dogs. He loves his 1:1 doggy companionship with a confident dog his size. He is frightened of loud noises, sudden movements and does not trust young children. Best suited to a quiet household who are confident in training and bringing him out of his shell.
Patch loves 'his' people. He is so sweet, fabulous to take on walks and absolutely loves to sit on your lap. He is food motivated and takes treats so gently. This boy would be the perfect companion to someone that wants to include him in all aspects of life while being sure to tell people to give him the space that he needs. A short gentle walks each day, some food puzzles to keep him occupied and some basic obedience training will make this boy the best version of himself.TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS DOG you will need to complete a BARRC Expression of Interest Form to be considered for this pet. Our form can be completed directly by copying this link into your search bar.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. Our dogs are generally desexed at 6 months of age. If the dog you are applying for is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided for use at one of our approved vet providers only. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.
Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
