Gilbert

If you are looking for a cat to greet you when you come home from a long day, meet Gilbert!

Although his 'hellos' are silent, Gilbert's an attentive cat who shows his love with long stares, purring, sitting close, and giving cat kisses. He loves to play with his toys and roll onto his back to show you his gorgeous black and white belly.

Gilbert has a few favourite things: his grey blanket, his green cactus scratching post, and food! He is a very talented soccer player with his toy balls. And he also loves to impress with giant leaps across the loungeroom (the build-up is long and focused). Gilbert occasionally swipes at your hands when he demands attention or playtime.

His daily routine consists of breakfast, sleeping and grooming, sitting close to his people, pottering around home, looking out the window at birds, more sleeping and grooming, and late afternoon spurts of energy, before curling up next to his people for the evening.

Gilbert is proud of his meticulous use of the litter tray, and he would enjoy a calm household with an owner who lives in an apartment or who is willing to keep him as an indoor-only cat. He prefers to have no other pets in the home as he enjoys the attention all for himself.

Anybody who adopts Gilbert will be blessed with an affectionate companion who will gaze at you adoringly and provide you with all the cat kisses you need.
