About Mini
Mini is a petite young girl. She brings a constant smile to her foster carers with her engaging personality and boundless love for them. She is small enough to sneak in and nuzzle you when you are putting your shoes on. She loves to remind you that your biggest fan is there to show you some more loving. Mini is very tactile, loving every physical contact with you, including a cheeky lick of any surface she can reach.
Minnie is adapting to pet life very well. She is learning the house rules and enjoys her playtime with her humans. Mini comfortably sleeps through the night on her own bed in the human bedroom. She is becoming quite fond of her various toys, particularly the soft squeaky ones. Mini also is adept at collecting various household items such as shoes to join the collection on her bed.
Mini is learning to be home alone more. Mini would, love a home where her humans are home more often than not but if left with a Kong or puzzle treat she may grizzle for a bit but has been left home alone up to 4 hours.
Mini loves her walks. Currently thriving on two 30 minute walks as she the struts the neighbourhood. She can still be startled by sudden or loud noises so maybe more suited to the suburbs.
Mini is becoming more comfortable meeting other dogs on her walks. Its still all new to her and some patience from her new human would be appreciated to continue her socialisation. She does not always appreciate those high energy dogs leaping into her personal space.
Mini is your jet black pocket rocket with one white sock and the slightest underbite for comic effect. She will provide you with unbounded love and affection.
No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
