About Dotty
Delightful Dotty!
Dotty is a sweet, sassy and spunky little pocket rocket. Combing the tenacity and focus of both her breeds, (Kelpie x Jack Russell) Dotty knows what she wants and ensures she gets it. Generally it is for you to throw her favourite toy, as this girl plays fetch & return like a gold medal Olympian!
Little Dot sits on command and walks well on the lead. She is great in the car, toilet trained and will sleep in either a crate or just a dog bed. She is affectionate and enjoys a cuddle on the couch at the end of a busy day. She is very social with other dogs, but a nice calm first meeting is essential. She does not tolerate dogs with bad manners or who rush at her! (Fair enough too!) Dotty is best suited to live with a cruisy and calm doggie pal, around her age or older, who still loves to have a run and zoom and play. If joining a home with no resident dog she would need to have her humans around majority of the time.
She loves her neighbourhood walks, as well as adventures further afield such as the beach and bushwalks. Dotty is great at attending things like local footy games and takes all the activity, noise and excitement in her stride. Nothing much phases this gal!
Dotty requires a home experienced with the needs of her breeds and one that will provide her daily exercise and mental stimulation. As she enjoys having her humans around more often than not, Dotty would be a great addition to a newly retired active person, or couple, who she is able to spend the best part of her day with. She would make a great working from home companion. She could also suit an active family with older kids/teenagers but would be a bit too bouncy for little children. Dotty is possibly not suited to a home with free range poultry as she does like to chase birds out of the backyard!
Miss Dotty is living proof that good things come in small, sassy, but very sweet packages! ♥ Apply today!
