About Marshmallow
*In foster care in Dulwich Hill, Sydney*
Marshmallow, as the name suggests, is a big softie! He is a very independent cat and enjoys his own space, however he also loves being in the company of his humans and receiving lots of pats, belly scratches and smooches.
Marshmallow (Marshy) is very intelligent and active, he will need to be kept busy with stimulating activity, such as treat puzzles and toys. He has already clocked the intermediate level on his current puzzle and would thrive with new challenges!
He is a gorgeous cat, and receives lots of compliments and attention from visitors. While he can be shy at first, he is quick to come out of his shell and socialise with his household and newcomers.
Like all Maggie's pets, Marshmallow is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Marshy’s ideal home would be a calm and gentle household, perhaps with older children who understand his need for space. He would love a quiet corner or room that is all his own. He is comfortable being home alone for some time during the week, however he would thrive in an environment where there is some company at home for most of the week.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Marshy has bursts of high energy in the morning and evening and occasionally during the day, during these times he enjoys to play (especially with his favourite octopus toy from K-Mart!) and interact with his humans. During the day he is quite happy napping at your side or in his little space, as you work or go about your day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: As Marshy does like his own space when he needs it, a household with older children would perhaps be preferred.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Marshmallow interacted well and played with his sibling when they were together, so may be OK with other cats. He is untested with dogs.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
