About Pamela 35333
-Confidence Training Required
-Dog Selective
-Open to Meet Kids (10-12 yrs +)
-Approx. 17kg
Are you an experienced dog owner seeking a gentle and loving companion? Look no further than Pamela, a sweet and sensitive soul who is looking for her forever home in a calm and quiet household.
Pamela will thrive in a home where her owners can offer emotional support, allowing her to feel safe and loved. If you have kids aged 10-12 years and above, Pamela is open to meeting them and forming new bonds.
However, due to her temperament, we're unsure if she's suitable for a home with cats and pocket pets. She's also selective when it comes to other dogs, especially larger ones, though she does display playful and social behaviour.
Pamela would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who understand her needs and can provide the right environment for her. A peaceful home with a relaxed atmosphere would be the perfect setting for Pamela's sensitive nature.
Pamela would enjoy a medium-sized yard where she can have free access to both indoors and outdoors. High secure fencing is essential to ensure her safety. While not overly energetic, Pamela will benefit from daily exercise and walks to keep her physically and mentally stimulated.
Despite her shy nature, Pamela enjoys playtime and loves spending quality moments with her human caregivers. Pamela adores toys with squeakers, but she treasures personal playtime with her human companions even more.
Post-adoption training, including at-home training, would be beneficial to help Pamela gain confidence and develop good manners. Pamela is generally well-behaved on a leash but may occasionally pull out of excitement, so some leash training will be helpful. Pamela may not be highly food motivated, so finding other positive reinforcements during training will be key.
If you think you have the right environment, experience, and love to offer Pamela, she will undoubtedly become your most loyal and affectionate companion.

Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
