When she first came into our care, she was a bit timid, but with love and patience, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. Soxie’s personality is a beautiful mix of outgoing and shy, making her a delightful addition to any family.

Soxie is suitable for a variety of households. Whether you have a bustling and lively home, a calm and peaceful environment, or love spending time outdoors, she will adapt and become an integral part of your family. Due to her social and playful nature with other dogs, she could potentially be a great companion for a canine friend. However, it's important that all dog-to-dog interactions are monitored and boundaries are respected.

An ideal owner for Soxie would be someone who has previous experience with dogs. Her shy/timid nature might require a little extra understanding and patience, and an experienced owner can help her build confidence and adjust to her new home.

Soxie is open to meeting children aged 5 years and up. Her friendly and playful demeanour makes her a suitable companion for families with kids. However, as for living with cats or pocket pets, we're still unsure about her compatibility. A gradual and supervised introduction would be necessary to determine if it's a good fit.

Soxie would prefer a home where she has access to both indoors and outdoors. A medium to large yard with high secure fencing is essential to provide her the space she needs to explore and play safely.

Post-adoption training, especially at home, will be beneficial for Soxie. She already knows her name and the basic commands like sit and stay (to some extent). With a little training and positive reinforcement, she will continue to thrive and become a well-mannered dog. Daily exercise and walks are essential to fulfil her medium energy needs and keep her happy and healthy.

Soxie is an intelligent girl who loves treats, making training a breeze. She enjoys playing with toys, but her favourite activities are personal playtime and cuddles/pats with her beloved human.
