About Cricket
Poor Cricket was ‘surplus to requirements’ by his family, and was surrendered to us. He had lived his life out in the back yard.
So, after being surrendered to me in the main street of town, he immediately began leash training….his owner said that he wouldn’t walk and that he ‘ain’t no good on a lead.’
I would say after the first 15 mins of stop start walking back to my car on leash, there was a big improvement, which has continued at home, and now going for a walk is something he loves. (Check out the videos.)
Cricket also is a wonderful little passenger in the car, and as for living indoors…..that’s a definite tick of approval - he worked out the doggie door and trots in and out as he wishes. His toilet training has been a breeze, with him following the other dogs lead.
He is a lovely, sweet natured dog, great with the other dogs in care, both bigger and smaller than him and loves playing with them.
He is a friendly boy with the humans he meets and loves a snuggle while watching telly.
PLEASE NOTE: our location is Moree, northern NSW and if you are the successful adopter, you will be required to drive to collect Cricket.
