Basil - Adoption Pending

Basil is an affectionate little dog who was a little shy at first but has blossomed in foster care. He is playful, curious and an excellent mouser. He loves a snuggle and just needs a loving family to care for him. He is good with children and other dogs but basil's natural instinct comes to the fore when confronted with small animals like rabbits guinea pigs and chickens and he will chase them. Basil walks on a lead and is not a fussy eater and is in very good health. He would make a wonderful companion dog for an older person, or a family dog for a family or a fur kid for a couple. Good fences, access to inside and a warm bed and a person to please is what he needs! basil will dig his way out if left alone and will need to be in a house where someone is home most of the time.
