About Bonnie
This is Bonnie, a real cutie adopted from SAFE Broome in April, and coming back to SAFE through no fault of her own. The resident dog at her new home had to have back surgery, and Bonnie doesn't understand why they can't play like they used to.
Bonnie is a sweet, gentle girl who loves to cuddle and play. She has typically been left at home while her owners work fulll time, with no issues. She knows how to use the dog door and can also sit by the door and bark when she wants to go outside. She likes her walks (is learning to heal), and has mastered many of the basic commands. She sleeps in her crate in the owner's bedroom.
Exposed to the owners' 4 month old nephew, she is interested but not intrusive and will leave him alone. Hasn't had much exposure to other kids but is fine with primary aged children at the dog park. She is inquisitive of cats but learns quickly to keep her distant if they don't like her. Not phased by horses or sheep. And she LOVES dogs, especially being chased by dogs her size or smaller (the big ones can be a bit intimidating sometimes). She especially like playing with large balls like basketballs or soccer balls.
