NOTE: You are unable to meet Boris until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Boris in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• A female dog is the best housemate for me. But, I love people, so I'm just as happy being an only dog getting all of your love and attention for myself.
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I like friendly female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Male dogs, I don't seem to like them much.
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock as I will chase them.


My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with friendly female dogs
• Love to play fetch
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I love my food & toys so using them as a positive reward should make my training easier.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am social with friendly female dogs however I can be reactive to male dogs so further socialisation is recommended.
• I do walk quite well on the lead, however I can be a little bit erratic on lead when i see something interesting, walking me in a harness should help improve this along with daily walks.
