About 🖤Mia🖤
Hello there, potential forever family! My name is Mia, and I'm an 8-year-old black smoke Persian with a personality as unique as my face. My foster mama describes me as a mysterious feline with a heart of gold. Let me tell you a bit more about myself!
Firstly, you'll notice how incredibly silent I am. I'm the master of quietness, moving like a shadow in the still of the night. My poker face is intriguing as you may never know what I’m thinking about you. Though I never change my expression, it doesn't mean I don't have feelings. I'm just a bit of an enigma when it comes to displaying emotions.
I may not be the playful type, and toys might not interest me, but if you catch me alone, you might be in for a surprise. I sometimes can't resist galloping around, I really embody the phrase ‘dance like no one is watching’.
Routine is my middle name! I thrive on predictability, and my preferences rarely change. A warm window with a view is my favourite spot to bask in the sunlight and observe the world outside. I love being present and observing what's going on around me.
I'm not one to seek out cuddles, but I'm certainly not against them either. If you pick me up for a snuggle, I won't protest. However, I do like to keep my independence and won't demand your attention. There is one exception though – when it's time for my meals! If you're late with feeding, I'll suddenly appear to remind you of my mealtime needs.
Living with other cats hasn't been the most exciting experience for me. They can be dominant and territorial, but I don't let that bother me much. I believe that if I were in a more peaceful environment, I'd be able to show my true personality better and hopefully it will be one without other pets or maybe with a similarly ambivalent feline friend who won’t bother me.
I'm graceful and thoughtful in everything I do. There are no random moves in my world; everything is calculated and deliberate. I do enjoy some affection, though. A good chin scratch will make me purr, and every once in a while, I might surprise you by jumping on the bed for a snuggle session.
I'm generally quite easy going when it comes to grooming, although I did have to have a haircut to make me comfortable when I arrived.. I don't mind getting brushed or having my eyes wiped, but please avoid touching my nose – that's a big no-no! As for my litter box habits, I have no problem using it correctly, but I must admit, I'm not the best at covering my business. It can get a little loud at night with all the scratching.
When it comes to food, I'm not a huge eater, and I might be a bit picky with wet food. But the good news is, you can experiment with different options, and I won't give you a hard time about it.
In conclusion, I may be a bit of a mystery, but I promise that getting to know me will be an adventure filled with quiet companionship and occasional surprises. If you're seeking a feline friend who values independence and a tranquil atmosphere, I just might be the perfect match for your home!
Thank you for considering me as a potential member of your family. I can't wait to meet you and share my world of enigmatic charm with you!
