About Krypto 35344
-Post-Adoption Training Required
-Dog Social
-Open to Meet Kids (12 years +)
-Approx. 7kg
Krypto would be best suited for an owner with prior experience in handling dogs or someone who has owned dogs before. Knowledge of working breeds would be particularly beneficial.
Krypto is suitable to any household, whether it be busy, lively, active or outdoorsy as she loves being engaged in various activities. She is open to meeting kids aged 12 years and older. Her outgoing nature and confident temperament make her a good fit for families with older children.
Krypto is dog social and enjoys interacting with other dogs. However, she tends to think of herself as a big dog and might need some guidance in adjusting her play style when interacting with dogs of different sizes. Due to her working breed background, Krypto is not suitable for households with cats or pocket pets.
An ideal home for Krypto would provide her with both indoor and outdoor access. A medium to large-sized yard with high secure fencing is essential to ensure her safety and allow her to release her high energy levels.
Krypto has a confident and outgoing nature, making her an adventurous and fun-loving companion. She has high energy requirements and will benefit greatly from daily exercise. Regular playtime and activities will keep her physically and mentally stimulated.
Post-adoption training, such as one-on-one or group classes, is highly preferred for Krypto. While she is treat motivated, she needs to work on her manners when accepting treats. Additionally, she needs to learn how to walk on a leash and master other basic commands. Fortunately, her intelligence allows her to pick up commands quickly.
She isn't overly interested in toys; instead, she prefers engaging in personal playtime with her caregivers.
Please note that when Krypto becomes excited, she might exhibit play nipping behaviour. Ongoing training and behaviour modification will be crucial in curbing this behaviour and teaching her appropriate ways to interact and play lucky for her she is young & thrives on attention and learning.

Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
