Allow us to introduce the adorable but shy Bennie.

Bennie didn't get to spend much time learning how to dog out in the big bad world as a pup, so he is still learning how great people & the world can be. He has made a lot of progress whilst spending time in foster care, and is now looking for a furever home to continue building his confidence.

As he gains his confidence Bennie enjoys being part of the action, going for walks and cuddles on the bed. However loud noises still overwhelm him

To set Bennie up for success in settling in to his new home he does have a few specific requirements:
A quiet, adult (maybe teen) home is required, with a lot of consistency and routine. A busy house with lots of visitors and children will unfortunately be too much for him. Although once settled in he doesn't mind some visitors who will provide him with scritches.
Bennie also loves being indoors with his family and has learnt how to use a doggy door.

Having his own safe space to retreat to (like a dog crate) when things get overwhelming is a must.

Although meeting new people & adjusting to new environments is a new concept for Bennie, he is used to having canine friends. A confident canine role model is a must in his new home so they can help him as he settles into his new digs and for lots of play time.
Bennie has also successfully shared his home with a cat before :)
