About Kia 35342
-Confidence Training Required
-Best As Only Dog
-Open to Meet Kids (Any Age)
-Approx. 17kg
Kia is a sweet soul in need of a home with experienced dog owners who understand her timid nature and can help her build the confidence she deserves.
Kia is a sensitive and gentle girl with a heart of gold. She may be shy at first, but with patience and understanding, she will surely blossom in a safe and secure environment. Due to her timid nature, Kia is best suited as the only dog in the household, as she finds it challenging to interact with other dogs. She yearns for a peaceful space where she can feel safe and loved.
Open to meeting children of all ages, Kia can be a gentle playmate and a loving companion for kids. However, introducing her to young ones should be done with care and under supervision, as she may initially be a bit reserved. As for cats or pocket pets, it's currently unknown how she would react, so slow and controlled introductions would be necessary if you have other furry family members.
Kia's dream home would be one that grants her free access to both indoor and outdoor spaces. A medium to large yard with high, secure fencing would be perfect for her to explore and play in. Regular daily exercise and walks are essential for her well-being and will also help her burn off some energy.
While Kia has a sensitive temperament, she is not overly demanding when it comes to activity levels. Moderate exercise and playtime should be sufficient to keep her content. She enjoys curling up on her bed and relishing quiet moments with her beloved humans. Treats are her weakness, and she takes them gently, making training sessions a pleasure for both of you.
Speaking of training, post-adoption training sessions are highly recommended for Kia. One-on-one sessions, training at home, or group classes will help her develop her confidence and obedience skills. Confidence training, in particular, will be beneficial for her overall well-being and happiness.
Kia's play preferences lean more towards personal interaction with her caregivers than toys. While she may show slight interest in soft toys and squeaky toys, nothing compares to the joy she feels when she spends quality time with her humans.
One of her favourite activities is receiving belly rubs and cuddles. These simple acts of affection mean the world to her, and she will be forever grateful to have a caring family to call her own.
