About Forrest (John Snow)
Hey there, humans! The name's Forrest, like Forrest Gump, only cuter and furrier. Actually I have a real name but I have no idea why I was called it!
I'm a special blend of energy and kelpie, with a mix of goofball.
I'm a fun loving extraordinaire! I love nothing more than a good game of chasey with my doggy buddies. Just be prepared for some wild antics and a whole lot of laughter.
I love my crate I’ll rest in there plenty of times during the day if you give me access. I’m really happy to hang outside and chill those times you have to go out without me, just keep in mind im a kelpie so I can clear obstacles with ease.
Now let’s talk adventure! I'm a pro when it comes to road trips I love car rides. I love exploring new places and experiencing new smells. If getaways are on your agenda, I’m happy to ride shotgun!
Don't let my athletic prowess fool you. Deep down, I'm a big sook. TLC and cuddles turns me into a total mushball. I'm a sucker for affection, and I'll gladly soak up all the love you're willing to give.
Guess what? My foster carers went on holiday and I couldn’t go so they sent me to a seaside resort. I stayed for a 16 day board and train. It was barktabuloous! This guy Phil he was woofulderful. He taught me so much about calm and listening and man how to follow a lure and spin and gosh so much more. It was so much fun and I loved learning so I really want someone who will do that with me everyday.
Lastly, compatibility? I'm great with humans of all shapes and sizes. Kids? Love 'em! Other dogs? Well, I'm the life of the paw-ty! I like to be social and cool to roll with a buddy but I do get way to excited im not really a dog park boy cause I forget to switch off. Pssst I love being in the spotlight and will shine bright on my own.

Adoption details
**PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING AN ENQUIRY.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL US!**
Pleases email us on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com to request an adoption form. Dogs name as the heading and include your phone number.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1) Email and ask for an adoption application to be sent on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
2) Check your SPAM FOLDER
3) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.
4) This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6) A home visit will need to be conducted.
7) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2-4 week trial period immediately.
8) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9) During the first week 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure.
10) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you MUST contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog for you to receive your payment you will, within 10 business days of the return of the dog.
