MY PROFILE:
Nutmeg came into rescue about a year ago, pregnant and only just starting to show. From the very beginning, it was evident that she had experienced little to no positive interactions with people, as she was incredibly scared and would lash out at anyone who approached her.
Despite her fear and uncertainty, Nutmeg gave birth to three beautiful kittens, all of whom have now found their loving homes. As her kittens were adopted, Nutmeg's true transformation began. With patience and socialisation, she started to trust her foster carer more, gradually becoming more comfortable around them. She loves scratches and pats very much ! She has come so far in the year she has been in care, and she looks like a completely different cat!
Nutmeg's favourite toy is bouncy balls, as soon as she hears you bounce one, her head will pop around the corner shortly after. She gets along with her foster siblings, regardless of their gender. She has grown accustomed to the indoor life and will need to be an indoor-only cat to ensure her safety and well-being.
What home would suit Nutmeg?
* Indoor Only or with access to outdoor enclosure
* At least another cat who is friendly with other cats (she loves other cats too much to just be a only cat, unless you are home a lot and can provide her with company)
* Someone who understands she is still learning and a little timid but is patient and caring, and wants to help nutmeg reach her full potential
* No dogs
* No younger children
