About Hermione
Hermione is the world’s best hugger. She literally uses those legs and paws to bring it all in. Hermione is such a sweet girl with the purest of hearts who wants nothing more than a life filled with joy, companionship and love.
Hermione has had a very slow start being introduced to the world and therefore needs a kind, caring and patient person/people to help introduce her to all the things she has missed out on and to continue helping her navigate her way through life. She loves interacting with her humans and adores a good ball chase, a shot of tug and a basket full of fluffy toys.
Hermione is presently being crate trained and is doing great. She is an indoor dog and sleeps peacefully in her crate indoors overnight. This must be allowed to continue. Hermione hasn’t had any toileting accidents in her foster home but toilet training should continue in her new home. It is essential that she goes to a home where someone is around much more often than not.
Only experienced dog people will be considered - a person or people with the know-how, time, patience and understanding required to train, socialise and build confidence in Hermione. People with vast knowledge and experience on how to care for and nurture a dog prone to resource guarding and anxiety are also preferred.
Hermione is not suitable for a home with young children - late teens is ideal. She would also be better suited to being the only dog in the home at this stage.
