Smudge - 10 Year Old Pug X (Trial 1/9/23)

This doggy duo can be adopted as a pair or individually, either way they needs to and would like to have doggo company to hang with in their new forever home.

Personality: Doug and Smudge are friendly, relaxed, calm, and easy going who are a delight to be in the company of and who quickly warm up to anyone’s lap. When you sit, they will sit with you. They are well behaved young lads who get along well with all humans, other doggo’s and chickens. They are very sociable and love a local walk to get to know everyone in the hood. They love belly rubs and will roll over for a tummy rub multiple times a day.

As much as they like being inside with access to the outside yard, they very much like to be outdoors to relax, sunbake and play. They love to be where you are and will follow you everywhere you go.

Training: Doug and Smudge have been trained to sit, stay, wait, and stop. They have also been trained to not jump (command is “naughty”) if they do something they are not allowed to do.

They are also toilet trained.

They are kid friendly and would be safe around small kids.

Sleep: Doug and Smudge have their own room to sleep in and sleep all night long.

Food: they both love their food and their favourite word is “treats”. They are carrying a little extra over winter, so would benefit from a very healthy diet and plenty of walking, ready for their summer body! They weigh 17kg.

Walks: with Doug being half Beagle his nose dictates where he walks and Smudge goes with the flow. They both love to smell everything so it’s a leisurely walk about 2km return. He will sleep for hours after this to recover.

In summer they love the hose and attacking the water spray, then it’s a game to catch them to dry them off.

Doug and Smudge's overview:
• Desexed, Vaccinated, worm and flea treated.
• Trained in commands.
• House trained.
• Good with small dogs
• Good with kids.
• Needs a secure yard.

Doug and Smudge are in foster care in Aberdeen, NSW, and are not available for adoption interstate. Adoption fee is $500 each.
