Oscar

Oscar is an active, young Kelpie boy who is looking for an owner who can keep up with him and his breed traits. If you take him for big walk every day, he promises to snuggle up with you in the evenings. He has lots of puppy tendencies and will need someone to put in the hard yards with him. Oscar likes to investigate new people, places and smells and can't wait to explore his new home.
Oscar is a working breed dog and has a lot of energy so would love a big outdoor area / acreage to explore and run around in with secure high fencing.
He'll need an owner who has a lot of time and patience enabling them to teach Oscar some basic foundational training and more.
He loves enrichment activities like Kong toys, bones to chew, and puzzle toys to keep him entertained when left alone as Kelpies are highly intelligent dogs and need a lot of mental stimulation as they have very busy brains.
Oscar may be quite boisterous as he grows and we recommended he goes to a family with older children. Oscar has a lot of energy and loves to play, he would love to go to a home with another dog that can match his energy and play with him.
