About Teddy
Teddy is very affectionate and playful with his people and the resident dog in his foster home. He has so much love and cuddles to give and will flop on the ground the minute he sees someone for tummy rubs and loves to be snuggled up next to his people on the couch. Teddy has made best friends with the resident foster dog, they play tug, cuddle, and snuggle asleep together in the same dog bed, his carer says it’s supper cute. Teddy is a typical pup with puppy behaviour. He loves to chew, and will chew toys and often have soft cuddly toys explode with fluff going everywhere. His toilet training is going great with only the occasional mistake, he has learnt from his foster brother to use the doggie door. Teddy is a fast learning and eager to please, he has started to learn sit and drop and loves praise and food rewards when he gets it right. Teddy enjoys travelling in the car in a pet carrier, but can feel a little unsure when sitting buckled up in the back seat.
He can be a bit shy when meeting new people but with patience and gentle pats he soon becomes your best friend.
TEDDY’S NEW HOME WILL HAVE:
- A desexed doggie companion (not senior or puppy).
- Someone willing to give lots of belly rubs and receive lots of cuddles.
- Family that is understanding of typical puppy behaviour, e.g., chewing, toilet training and exploding plushies.
- Family that is keen to continue training and consider a dog training group to help Teddy grow to a polite happy dog.
- A home that will welcome Teddy inside the house as part of the family, and the comfort of sleeping inside.
- A yard big enough for two dogs to run and play, he won't be suited to a small yard or apartment living.
- Teddy hasn't been around cats so training around this would be necessary.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
