About Bella
Bella | Female | Mixed Breed | 1-1.5 year old approx
Dog friendly: yes
Cat friendly: untested
Kid friendly: yes, tested with kids 5 years +
House trained: mostly an outside dog
Energy level: Medium
Size when adult: medium/large - currently 21 kg
Bella was found wandering as a stray and no one came to claim her. This sweet girl was very timid and anxious when she first came into care, so it's quite likely she had very little time put into her in her former life. However with lots of cuddles and attention from her foster carers she has finally started to gain confidence again.
Bella will do anything for a pat and loves to go for walks without any pulling.
Her recall is under continuous work as she is very stimulated when in new environments. She does spook easily at loud noises etc, so will need continued gentle exposure to different environments to help her overcome this.
Bella has developed a great friendship with her foster doggy brother and shows no aggressive tendencies around food or play with other dogs. She mostly has a chasey play style but will partake in a bit of rough and tumble with her doggy friends, and will disengage when it's starting to get too over the top for her. She would definitely benefit from a confident canine companion, but could be alright as the only dog in the household provided she's included in daily family life.
Bella has a beautiful deep bark that she only uses when strangers come to the gate.
Bella will require adopters that will be patient and help her to learn the world is not such a scary place. You have to earn Bella's trust, but once you do you will have a loyal friend that will love you unconditionally.
Bella is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
