Jacamo & Maximo

These best friends for life Maximo and Jacimo have brought much pleasure into our home, while they have been staying with us. The buddies are like two peas in a pod, where one is the other is not far behind. They are the best cuddle buddies anyone can have. Maximo will make small groans of pleasure when he is being cuddled and Jacimo likes to be swaddled when having cuddles.
Yes they might be on the senior side and not able to run marathons anymore but for someone who just wants to love 2 little friends and be loved 10 fold in return these are your little men

Maximo is a Little Toy Poodle x weighing 6 kilos and Jacimo is a Maltese x Toy Poodle just 4 kilos
The bou=ys had been taken to the vet for euthenasia by their hooman as she was moving overseas and we saved them from there.
Both boys required major dental work which we have completed as they had numerous rotten teeth and Jax was unable to eat causing him major weight loss
Thankfully now little man can eat without pain and he is powering down his food and gaining much needed weight each day
Both boys have had full bloods completed and have no health concerns that were picked up during these tests

• Traveling in the car – these two travel good in a car, however due to their small size harnesses or a small dog crate would be best for them.
• Food – Maximo is a good eater and is on two meals a day. He is quite partial to the "Wet food “ brand.. he is not too fussed with dry food but will take some if it has been soaking a little to make it slightly softer. Jacimo is having three meals a day. And he too loves his “Wet food especially with Gravy. Jacimo has no teeth so he does need a soft diet and small pieces. They do eat out of separate bowls as Jacimo needs to put on a little more weight. Jacimo won’t start eating until you tell him he can. We have just been “ You can eat now”
• Outside – They do enjoy being outside as long as it is together. Jacimo likes to watch Maximo run around. And will join in for a short time. They both like to go on short walks.
• Visitors – if visitors come they will let you know. Maximo is first in with his welcoming, Jacimo will stand back for a bit to check everyone out before heading in to welcome.
• Independence – this pair has had constant adult human company, while with us. We have been told they do bark for a little when first on their own, but don’t take long to settle down.
• Obedience - There is not much I can say about these two, they are well behaved and don’t get into any trouble at all. Like all dogs they are willing to learn and to please.
• Sleeping habits - Both are great sleepers through the night. And have a little quirk, of wanting to be under the covers. They do have dog beds, however I feel they may suit an igloo type bed. We do allow the dogs to sleep on our bed and that is when we discovered them wanting to sleep under the covers.
• Toilet training - Both boys are very well toilet trained. And will either let you know if they need to go outside or sit by the door waiting. While staying with us they have been able to go in and out as they please, during the day.
• Ideal Home –
These little guys will make the PERFECT companions for someone who is lonely or seeking 2 little lap dogs who love to be loved
These best buds need to stay together as they are a bonded pair. They certainly don't need exercise, or big walks. But what they do need is lots and lots of cuddles. Or just a lap to sit on. Whomever adopts these two will get much pleasure from them. And steal your heart.
