About Rosie
Rosie Roo, our sweet husky lady is ready to find a love connection!
Her perfect day would consist of an adventure with her humans, a trip to the park for a romp with her friends, some puzzle toys filled with her favourite snacks and a snooze in the warm sun for that daily dose of Vitamin D.
If you know and love huskies, look no further because Rosie is a really great dog who really just wants to find her forever humans, to love and adore her. She walks very well on leash (which is always a bonus with an arctic), get's on well with other dogs, is gentle with children and is pretty content just chilling when required.
Her heterochromia (two different coloured eyes) makes her quite striking and her wolf grey coat and fearlessness with fashion makes her quite the popular lass when out about.
MY IDEAL HOME: Rosie's ideal home consists of an active family who can include her in their day to day life. Whilst she really prefers her humans around more often than not, once settled in a new environment she can be left alone for a few hours but wouldn't suit a full time worker. She would do best in a home with access to a fully fenced yard where she can run and play and wouldn't suit apartment living.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Typical husky energy! Rosie does require a decent daily adventure or two. She is a dog park regular who loves a good game of chase both as the chaser and the chasee! She also enjoys using her brain to work out puzzle toys and various enrichment feeders.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Rosie has previously lived with children and is a very kind, sweet natured girl so provided the children in the home respected her boundaries, she would live happily alongside them.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:Rosie loves to run around and play with other dogs and as a general rule gets along well with her canine counterparts. She can be a little put off by dogs that are overly exciteable and in her face however would likely be okay to share a home with a dog that matched her vibe provided resources like toys and snacks were managed.
Rosie hasn't met a lot of cats and would likely be best in a home without them.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
