About Houdini
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
**ADOPTION OR FOSTER NEEDED**
Houdini is a five-year-old male cat looking for a loving home to help him settle into his new life. He is already desexed, microchipped, and up to date with his vaccinations and parasite control, so he's ready to go! He can be anxious when it comes to people and the world around him & unfortunately his current environment is too stimulating and overwhelming for him, but with the right place he has potential to be a very sweet cat.
When given the chance, Houdini will come up for chin scratches and pats. He has been quite friendly with dogs in the past, however he does not get along well with other cats so NO sharing homes! Despite being hesitant of being touched at first, Houdini deserves a chance to find a perfect home that can provide him with the support he needs. Someone with experience of behavioral/personality disorders and familiarity giving daily medication would be ideal for Houdini’s needs.
We strongly believe in keeping our cats safe by having them stay indoors only. This not only keeps them out of the pound but also provides a secure environment to thrive in. If you think you can give Houdini the loving home he deserves, please reach out to us and send an inquiry!

**PLEASE READ**
Houdini has been assessed for his behaviour issues by our vets, unable to identify his triggers for his lashing out episodes. He has a strong innate tendency for hunting / play behaviour. He requires daily medications including zylkene, gabapentin and lovan. He also has a feliway diffuser running 24/7.
Adoption details
*PLEASE NOTE - all of our cats are INDOOR only cats and not allowed outside unless in a cat run or supervised.
If you would like to express interest in adopting/fostering, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own and what you can offer this animal. Our aim is to find the best homes for our pets, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.

- Do you currently have any pets? If so, what kind? Please list them all. If not have you had any pets in the past?
- If you have other pets are they desexed?
- Are they up to date with their vaccines?
- Do you current Pets get along with other animals?
- Do you have experience in owning a cat /Kitten?
- Will the cat be an indoors or outdoors cat?
- Where will the cat sleep?
- Do you live in an apartment or house?
- Do you rent, and if so do you have permission from your landlord?
- How many hours out of the day will you NOT be at home with the cat?
- Have you ever surrendered an animal in the past?
- If yes, what was the reason?
- Can you explain any ongoing cost that may occur when owning a pet?
- Do you have a current vet?
