About Cody
Hi! My name is Cody. I am an 8 month old male black and tan Kelpie X. I am a sweet cuddle pup who loves to snuggle on the couch with my humans. I am also really friendly with other dogs and love playing with them. My foster sister and I love to play chase and wrestle and tug of war all day.
I can be a little shy, but my foster parents have been working on this with me and I am becoming a lot more confident. I am happy meeting new people now and have visited a few new places and my foster parents say I've been taking it all in my stride. In my foster home I have a big sister and brother to play with and they have helped me realise I don’t need to be afraid of lots of things that I previously found scary, although sometimes strange or loud noises still frighten me and I am learning to look to my person for reassurance.
My basic obedience is very good, I can sit and lay down and my recall is coming along well. I am also getting used to my crate, I eat my dinner in there and happily wander in at bedtime to sleep the whole night through.
Cody would be best suited to a family who are committed to his ongoing training and obedience as well as continuing to work on building his confidence. Cody is well natured and social with other dogs and would benefit greatly from having a sibling of similar disposition.
Cody is located in NSW.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
