About Jeffy
Where to start with Jeffy!
This gorgeous boy is just an all-round dreamboat. He is the sweetest; funniest, cuddliest and most hilariously playful cat!
Jeffy came to us when his owner became chronically ill and had to spend extended periods in and out of hospital. He adored Jeff and wanted him to have a happy and fulfilling life, so he made the heart-wrenching decision to find him a new home.
He will initially charm your socks off with his extremely attractive looks- his rugged cheeky charm is evident in the expression on his face- he looks at you with those big wistful eyes!
He has a magnificent fluffy coat, being a domestic medium hair he will require regular brushing- but it will be a lovely bonding experience for you both as he just adores being brushed, he smooches all over the brush, relaxed and purrs loudly when brushed. Actually… he purrs loudly the minute he sees you!
Jeff will require a home where he has lots of company and people to play with him. He absolutely adores toys, and he loves the enrichment that comes from playing with plushies, fishing rod-style toys with feathers on the end and jingle balls. He loves running in and out of his tunnel, and he also adores his cat tree/scratch post.
The thing about Jeffy is that his joy, his playful nature, and his extremely affectionate smoochy side, are sure to brighten your life. He will be a wonderful, cuddly and entertaining companion.
Little man has a sensitive tummy, so he is on a strict diet of Hills Perfect Digestion food. It’s a premium food available in all pet retail stores and online. And it’s a small price to pay to care for this precious boy well :)
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
