Meet Marco, ""The Academic"". Marco is a handsome pooch who exudes charm and is eager to please his humans. He is smart and highly food motivated, which should help him with training and learning to be the best dog he can be. He strives to be the first at everything and his inquisitive eyes reveal that he is always thinking ahead, considering what he wants to explore next!
He enjoys a game of tug-o-war, which serves as a great distraction when he becomes a bit boisterous. This shows that he has a playful and energetic side, making him a well-rounded companion.
Although Marco can get over excited when interacting with cats, he reacts well when he is reminded of boundaries and quickly calms down or redirects his attention. With continued help, he'll learn to interact appropriately.
While Marco has not yet encountered small children, we believe that he will adore them and be adored in return by anyone. His combination of playfulness and a gentle nature make him a perfect fit for families looking for a new furmily member.
