About Bella and Odin
Hi, our name is Bella and Odin and we’re 7yo siblings. We think we compliment each other very well as although we spend a lot of time together, we are both very unique with our own individual personalities.
What I (Odin) lack in cuddles, my sister, Bella, certainly makes up for. Bella would be happiest in a home where she is receiving lots of daily cuddles, included in day to day activities and although she will sleep in her own bed at night there would be bonus points if she was allowed to sleep in the bed. She would also like her guardians to make her boiled chicken for most meals as she does not like much else. Although I (Odin) can be a little shy and somewhat aloof in nature, I do not want to be left out at all or not included in any daily activities. We both love our daily walks and are very happy to go for multiple short walks a day or any other places we may be able to accompany you. We also travel very well in the car and seem to enjoy car rides however, if left at home we will let out a short trill of barking as you leave but then are otherwise mostly quiet.
We have been living in an apartment with a cat who we like very much and apart from me (Odin) feeling a bit anxious when I’m on my lead we also seem to like other (small) dogs as well. We are also pretty much perfect with our toileting, the only time we may have an accident inside is if there’s a change in our routine or we are left alone for a long period of time.
Medical notes
Bella and Odin are desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, intestinal and heart worm prevention.
They have both had regular vet checks whilst in care and have recently had dentals with only one or two extractions each.
Odin had tick paralysis when he was 4 years old, but thankfully made a full recovery. Odin also has allergies that flare up on occasion. He had an allergy test several years ago and can be allergic to some types of weeds and grasses, and storage mites. He has had a cytopoint injection on the 11th July for his allergies.
Odin also has mild patella luxation in both hind legs, but they don’t cause him any discomfort so no need for surgery at this stage. We do recommend he start on a joint support supplement to help as he ages.
